Zurai and Haydn Manga

Zurai (ズラーイ, Zurai) and Haydn (ハイドン, Haidon) are a minor ancient mamodo team who appear during the Stone Tablet Arc. Zurai's spells have the operating attribute.

Appearance[]

Zurai is a short, lean humanoid mamodo with sharp, angular features, resembling some type of warrior. He has dark brown hair and pinkish-peach skin. His outfit consists of a deep orange-red robe, with a long vertical orange cloth panel hanging down the front, inscribed with symbols.

Haydn, his current human partner, is tall and broad-shouldered, contrasting Zurai’s small frame. He has light beige skin, brown hair, and wears a muted purple-gray shirt with brick-red pants and tan shoes.

Personality[]

Haydn seems to be a man whose mind is brainwashed for Zofis, but got free once Brago burned all the ancient mamodo books, including his book.

Biography[]

Background[]

Zurai petrified

Zurai petrified

Zurai participated in the previous battle 1,000 years ago to decide the Mamodo King. At some point during the battle, Zurai ran into Goren of the Stone and Maurice and was turned into a stone tablet by his spell, Dioga Gorugojio. After being trapped in a stone tablet for 1,000 years, Zurai was returned to his body by Zofis when he used the Stone of Moonlight on him and the other ancient mamodo trapped in stone. Haydn is not Zurai’s original partner and, under normal circumstances, would be unable to read the spellbook or activate its spells. However, through Zofis’ mental manipulation, the cognitive dissonance between the descendants and the spellbook was forcibly synchronized. This artificial alignment allows Haydn to read and cast the spells as though he were Zurai’s rightful partner.

Part I[]

Zurai and Haydn appear during the fight with Brago and Sherry at the Devolo Ruins. Zurai's book is burned during the fight.

Spells[]

Although none of Zurai's spells are shown, they are based on the Operating attribute.
