Zakson (ザクソン, Zakuson) and Carter (カーター, Kātā) are an ancient mamodo team who appear during the Stone Tablet Arc. Zakson's spells are never seen, but known to have the Spiritual affiliation.

Zakson looks like some kind of mammal.

Carter is a man brainwashed by Zofis.

Background[]

Zakson participated in the previous battle 1,000 years ago to decide the Mamodo King. At some point during the battle, Zakson ran into Goren of the Stone and Maurice and was turned into a stone tablet by his spell, Dioga Gorugojio. After being trapped in a stone tablet for 1,000 years, Zakson was returned to his body by Zofis when he used the Stone of Moonlight on him and the other ancient mamodo trapped in stone.

Part I[]

Zakson and Carter appears inside a three team squad, lead by Byonko. Zakson, along with Isojin and Ikagesso, attack Brago and Sherry in Africa, but are easily defeated with Dioga Gurabidon, which causes his book to burn.

Although Zakson's spells are never shown, they have the Spiritual attribute.
