Tsao-lon ( ツァオロン, Tsaoron) and Gensou (玄宗, ''Gensō'') are an antagonistic Ancient Mamodo team that appear during the Stone Tablet Arc. Tsao-lon is one of the Four Supreme Mamodo.
Appearance
Tsao-Lon is a muscular young mamodo with light blue spiky hair that flares outward and sharp teal eyes with a fierce expression. He has a thin black line marking running down the center of his face from forehead to chin. His outfit has a martial-arts style: a sleeveless, pale-green wrap top with red and gold accents, fastened by two gold clasps on the chest. A red flame-like marking extends from his left shoulder across the chest. He wears loose blue pants tied with a blue sash and yellow boots that reach mid-calf. He wields a long red staff tipped in black, symbolizing his combat-oriented fighting style.
Gensou, Tsao-Lon’s current human partner, is a tall young man with short, spiky black hair and narrow eyes conveying a stern and focused demeanor. He wears a traditional dark blue changshan (Chinese-style long coat) with silver clasps and colorful cuffs featuring bold red, yellow, blue, and purple flame-like patterns. The same pattern adorns the lower hem of his coat. His footwear consists of simple black slip-on shoes with brown soles, complementing his traditional appearance.
Personality
Gensou is a powerful martial artist who loves to fight and has an unquenchable lust for battle. Growing tired of human opponents, Gensou desired stronger enemies to test his strength, and was contacted by Zofis to serve in exchange for getting the chance for battles against powerful Mamodos. He is very physically strong, being able to crack Tia's defensive spell Seushiru with his bare hands, counteract Tia, and hurt Wonrei. He hates to fight weak opponents and only wants to fight strong ones to prove himself the strongest. He was also one of the only human partners of the 1,000-year-old mamodo to not have their hearts manipulated, being that he freely chose to join Zofis. He even continued to fight after his spellbook was burned and his mamodo disappeared.
Biography
Background
Tsao-Lon is one of the Ancient Mamodo who was revived by Zofis. He was one of mamodo chosen by Zofis and given a high rank as one of the Four Supreme Mamodo.
Part I
When the two faced off the four, they were beating Wonrei and Tia at first, destroying even some of their strongest spells with their spells. Eventually, the two teams were barely able to stand. But after Tia used Saifojio on both Wonrei and Li-en, they used their spell, Raou Dibauren, which burned Tsao-Lon’s book.
After Zatch became the king, Tsao-Lon was seen with Rodeaux, Barry, and Keith at school. Gensou began training in Akita Prefecture, motivated by his defeat to Wonrei.
