Synopsis[]
After learning of Buzarai’s defeat, Zatch’s group reunites and discusses the troubling reality that without him, Riou may fail to revive Faudo—putting Li-en and the other cursed humans at risk of dying within two days. Alishie and Riya approach, presenting Zatch with a grim ultimatum: either use his power to replace Buzarai’s and ensure Faudo’s revival, saving Li-en but dooming the world, or let Li-en die to protect humanity. Though shaken, Zatch refuses to accept either outcome and instead declares he will save both Li-en and the world by finding a way to send Faudo back to the Mamodo World. Inspired by his determination, the group pledges their support, and Alishie acknowledges Zatch’s resolve, guiding them deeper into Faudo’s body to search for a solution.

Kiyo shares his thoughts with the group
Zaruchim delivers to Riou news of Buzarai’s defeat, which troubles him as he now lacks the power needed to destroy Faudo’s seal. At the same time, Keith and Berun reflect on their recent battle against Zatch and Kanchome, questioning the reason why they chose to infiltrate Faudo. Meanwhile, Zatch’s group finally reunites with the others and take some much-needed time to recover from the fierce battle they endured. While resting, Megumi approaches Kiyo to tell him that her group had recently seen Wonrei. Sunbeam adds that they encountered him during a fight against another Mamodo. As they discuss the encounter, Tia mentions that Wonrei’s cold stare as he looked back at them was what unsettled her most. Kiyo considers this and concludes that Wonrei must have already accepted that the only way to save Li-en was to cooperate with the enemy. He also speculates that without Buzarai, Riou no longer has the necessary forces to revive Faudo, which could mean Li-en and the other cursed humans may lose their lives within two days.
Alishie approaches Zatch and presents him with a difficult choice to make
Just as the group discusses this, they are approached by Alishie and Riya, a mamodo and bookkeeper pair who had been listening and express interest in becoming allies. Alishie confirms that, given the circumstances, Li-en will die since Riou no longer has the strength to revive Faudo. He then suggests there is still a way to break Faudo’s seal and reveals he knows Kiyo is aware of it too: using Zatch’s power to fill the void left by Buzarai. While this option would save Li-en’s life, it would also ensure Faudo’s revival, bringing devastation to the world. Alishie presents Zatch with an ultimatum—choose between the death of Li-en or the destruction of the world. Shaken by the impossible dilemma, Zatch becomes deeply conflicted, torn between protecting Li-en, who means so much to Wonrei, and protecting the many other people he loves and cares for. Alishie and Riya press him for an answer, insisting he can no longer run away from making this decision.
Zatch asks for everyone to lend him their power
After wrestling with his conscience, Zatch finally slams his hand to the ground and declares that he will not allow anyone to die—he will save both Li-en and the world. He explains that in the time they have left before Faudo’s revival, they can search for a way to send Faudo back to the Mamodo World. If they all work together, he believes they can find a solution in the two days remaining. With passion and conviction, Zatch pleads with everyone to lend him their power to save Li-en and protect the world. Inspired by his resolve, the group unanimously agrees to support him, and Kiyo praises Zatch for his determination. Alishie acknowledges that Zatch has passed his test and commends him for facing such a heavy choice without running from it. He then tells the group that in order to find a way to return Faudo to the Mamodo World, they must venture deep into Faudo’s body. Though the task will be perilous, Zatch remains confident that, as a team, they will overcome every challenge ahead.
