The First Fight (初ゲンカ Hatsu Genka, lit. "The First Fight") is the seventh chapter of the Zatch Bell!/Konjiki no Gash!! manga series by Makoto Raiku, published on May 18, 2001 in Japan and August 2, 2005 in the U.S. in the first volume.
Summary[]
As Suzy's taking stuff for the choir down with her friend, she spots Kiyomaro with a bandaged arm. Kiyomaro thinks about what happened after the battle with Reycome. Gash was now aware of his own power and called himself a monster.
As Kiyomaro walks home he sees Gash trying to show off to the other kids at the playground. Kiyomaro slaps him for thinking that way and says that it could be a tool for murder. Gash said he wanted to brag and didn't want to see Kiyomaro ever again. Kiyomaro and the kids leave as it begins raining. A dog sniffs Gash's clothes and Gash asks if the dog is alone. Gash considers himself alone too.
Kiyomaro throws his school bag on the desk angry at Gash for not considering how worried he was. The doorbell rings and a pair of people are at the door with a black spellbook. Gash heads back home with the dog as the girl of the pair joins Kiyomaro in his room. She explains how Gash is one of the demon children sent to the human world as Gash overhears.
