Test Within the Stomach. Break Through Difficult Questions. Tin Tin Chance is the one hundred and thirty second episode of Zatch Bell!/Konjiki no Gash Bell!! anime and the thirty second episode of Season 3.
Synopsis[]
Kiyo’s group enter Faudo through its mouth and discover a massive map of its body, marking the beginning of their dangerous journey. Soon after, they are confronted by the guardian Unko Tintin, who forces them to answer questions or fall into Faudo’s stomach acid. Though the challenge seems rigged, each member manages to pass—Folgore by luck, Kiyo by solving a difficult math problem, and finally Ponygon by showing his tail when asked about a common animal trait. With the trial cleared, the group press onward, only for Zaruchim and Wonrei to set out after them while one of Faudo’s deadly traps, a giant mechanical drill, activates and begins chasing them down.
Full Summary[]
Kiyo's group head towards the next area in Faudo
Kiyo’s group follow Alishie as he guides them through a series of vents to the entrance of Faudo. After exiting the vents, the group find themselves just outside of Faudo’s mouth where they would soon venture inside to begin their search for the control room. As they step into Faudo’s mouth, they can hear his heart beating. Alishie confirms that Faudo is alive and warns them that once the seal is released, Faudo will be able to move at any time. He explains that numerous traps exist within Faudo’s body and that they must be prepared for what lies ahead. The group enters the first room, which displays a massive anatomical map of Faudo with labeled chambers and pathways. While Kiyo sketches the map for reference, he and Alishie discuss possible locations of the control room.
Confronting Folgore for giving an obvious answer to Unko Tin Tin without thinking
Kiyo first suggests it could be in the brain, but the map shows no clear path leading there. Alishie reasons that it could also be hidden in a different location altogether. Before they can consider further, Riya points out what appears to be a barrier ahead, and the group quickly move in that direction. Alishie admits to Kiyo that he has never gone past the map room and warns that from here on, their real battle begins. The next area they enter places them above Faudo’s magma-like gastric acids with no visible exit. Suddenly, one of Faudo’s guardians, Unko Tintin, appears and demands to know if they were sent by his master or if they are intruders. Acting quickly, Alishie claims they were sent to search inside Faudo and requests safe passage. Unko Tintin agrees only if they can answer his questions correctly—failure means they will be dropped into the stomach acid. With no other option, the group brace themselves.
Ponygon is the last one left
His first question is deceptively simple: “Where are you?” While most hesitate, suspecting a trick, Folgore blurts out “Faudo,” which proves correct. Unko Tintin lowers him on his “Cord of Life” toward the acid, reminding everyone that the exit will only appear once all questions are answered correctly. As the questioning continues, each member successfully answers, though Kiyo grows suspicious as the questions are unrelated to the Mamodo World and oddly straightforward. When it is his turn, Unko Tintin challenges him with a long multiplication problem, expecting failure. Kiyo, however, solves it instantly, leaving Unko Tintin dumbfounded. After Kiyo secures his place on the cord, they realize only one person remains: Ponygon. Panic spreads through the group as Ponygon cannot speak to answer any question. Ignoring this, Unko Tintin smugly poses an impossible task—asking him to prove Fermat’s Last Theorem.
Ponygon wonders how Ponygon will answer Unko Tin Tin's question
As Unko Tintin mocks them, Kiyo erupts in anger, pointing out that the guardian wouldn’t know the answer himself since he couldn’t even solve the multiplication problem. Terrified, Unko Tintin quickly offers Kiyo a “Tintin Chance” to make Ponygon’s question easier. When Kiyo furiously refuses to apologize as demanded, Unko Tintin instead apologizes to him out of fear, declaring the Tintin Chance a success. As promised, he gives Ponygon an easier question, asking about a tool that most animals have. Watching closely, Kiyo realizes the answer is “tail,” and Ponygon is able to demonstrate it by showing his own tail. With this, the group pass the trial and move on.
One of Faudo's traps activate behind Kiyo's group
Elsewhere within Faudo, Zaruchim contacts Riou to report on Kiyo’s group, revealing their current location and noting that both Alishie and Riya are traveling with them. He offers to intercept the intruders before they get any farther and decides to bring Wonrei along, seeing his strength and loyalty to Li-en as an asset. Riou, confident in Faudo’s power, grants his approval, trusting that Zaruchim’s intervention will slow the enemy down. Meanwhile, Kiyo and his allies take a brief moment of relief after overcoming Unko Tin Tin’s strange question challenge. They celebrate their victory, with Folgore boasting about his lucky answer and Ponygon earning praise for cleverly showing his tail to clear the final question. But their celebration is short-lived as they press deeper into Faudo, heading toward the narrow, winding corridors of its small intestine. Without warning, the entire passage shakes violently as one of Faudo’s defenses activates. From behind them, the walls split open to reveal a massive mechanical drill, spinning at incredible speed and tearing through the corridor as it moves toward them. The deafening roar of the drill echoes throughout the chamber, and the group rushes to escape—dodging falling debris and uneven footing as the trap charges relentlessly.
