Short Summary[]
Kiyo, Zatch, and Shion chase after Grisor but fail in retrieving the mirror from him in time. Hakase uses the mirror and causes Grisor to grow into a monstrous being which increases his spell power by a hundred fold. They engage in battle but are unable to cause damage to Grisor. When Grisor aims a spell towards Shion, Nya pushes her out of the way but Nya's book is burnt in the process. Shion holds onto Nya as he disappears from her arms. Grisor then traps Kiyo, Zatch, and Shion on a patch of land by surrounding the area with magma from underground.
Long Summary[]
After the presentation of the episode we can see Grisor escaping with the magic crystal chased by Kiyomaro Takamine and Zatch Bell , both stop when they see that Shion Hibiki and Nya are petrified; Kiyomaro, Zatch and Nya manage to encourage Shion to go after Grisor. Dr. Hakase tells his Mamodo to hurry or they will catch up with him while he tells him shortcuts, surprisingly Kiyomaro and Zatch appear in front of him making him go another way; however Hakase causes an explosion with his controls so that a tree falls on our heroes.
Kiyomaro prepares to cast a spell but Shion gets ahead with Kyapodan , Nya uses her claws to destroy the tree and thus continue with the pursuit of Grisor; during the chase Hakase presses a button makes the ground where the protagonists step to collapse. However Shion uses the Bypan spell so that Nya becomes giant and stops the fall, Grisor advances calmly but again they surround him due to his rapid exit from the hole and Grisor is left cornered against a mountain; he begins to ask his partner for help in all possible ways.
A camera comes out of the ground to reassure Grisor and Hakase presses the blue and red triangle buttons, a cloud of smoke launches Grisor into the air to the top of the mountain; there Hakase is seen where the mirror remains in front of him. Under the mountain our heroes ask Hakase for explanations who says that with this mirror they will be able to take revenge on the academic society that ignored him, Shion cries when she sees that she has been deceived and the mirror is useless to avoid fighting; a red aura begins to surround Nya while the rivals decide to test the power of the mirror.
Hakase puts the mirror in front of his book and shouts the Riapo spell causing great darkness around him, a beam of light from the mirror illuminates a jewel that Grisor has in his hat; before the surprised gaze of our heroes they see that Grisor has transformed being much bigger and more powerful. Grisor tells the protagonists that the reflection of the mirror makes 100 times more powerful any spell, Kiyomaro says that being bigger does not make him more powerful but Grisor lets Hakase stand in the palm of his hand and jumps with him to go down to the forest; Grisor and Hakase have disappeared between the trees but Hakase affirms that there is still something else.
Hakase brings the mirror closer to the Spell Book and shouts Faigar but this time a huge flame burns the trees and almost breaks the mountain, Kiyomaro realizes that the spell is much more powerful than before that it was only a small flame on a finger so Grisor laughs saying that no one can stop him from becoming a mamodo king; however Nya runs off to confront Grisor so the rest decide to accompany her while Grisor throws a burnt tree at Nya. Nya climbs it and jumps to scratch Hakase but Grisor crushes her against the ground with a slap although she manages to get away very badly hurt, Shion gets in front to prevent them from continuing to hit her friend and Kiyomaro and Zatch throw a Zaker that does not cause damage to Grisor so they execute a new Faigar to Shion and Nya; Nya manages to push Shion but the backpack burns causing her book to fall with a small flame that makes Nya begin to disappear while Shion remembers what it was like to share moments with Nya.
Shion while crying holds Nya in his hugs who says goodbye moving a paw and Kiyomaro and Zatch excitedly watch the scene to finally disappear Nya and leaving Shion crying to return to his loneliness, Grisor mocks the weakness shown but Zatch tearfully reproaches him for the evil shown but Hakase says that it is something normal because only a mamodo will win the battle and Zatch tells him that it is true but they have laughed at the kindness of Shion and Nya; Zatch cries because in addition to lying to them they broke their hearts but both villains continue laughing. After this our protagonists decide to confront Grisor but they use a new Magma Garon spell that causes the earth to crack and then lava comes out, Kiyomaro and Zatch manage to dodge the lava but to prevent them from fleeing they make the earth separate much more creating a circle from which they cannot escape and leaving Kiyomaro with a blank mind; Shion continues crying while Kiyomaro and Zatch decide to continue fighting.
