Pokkerio and Periko

Pokkerio (ポッケリオ, Pokkerio) and Periko (ベリコ, Beriko) are a minor Mamodo team that fought Brago and Sherry in the first stage of the Mamodo Battle. His spells are based on roots and trees.

Appearance[]

Pokkerio[]

Pokkeiro has the appearance of a walking mini-tree, thus referencing his plant element. His body is made of wood, he has large green leaves on his neck, a very large nose, black eyes, he wears brown pants and is barefoot.

Periko[]

Periko is a tall, dark-skinned man with long, black hair. His eyes are large but his pupils are small. He wears an orange, short-sleeved shirt that is not closed. His pants are short and blue. These clothes seem to be quite old and torn with several cracks.

Personality[]

Pokkerio[]

From what little is known about Pokkeiro, it can be shown that he is quite shy and fearful, although if he is given the opportunity to easily defeat an enemy, he does not hesitate to fight alongside his partner Periko . Unlike him, Pokkeiro is more serious and does not have so much arrogance when he sees that the battle is going in his favor.

Periko[]

From the little that is known about Periko, he was very poor before meeting Pokkeiro , so he had to endure many difficult moments. He is very fearful and timid, but if he is given the opportunity to win a fight, he shows his cocky side, criticizing his rival while laughing. When he was being defeated, he began to cry because he did not want to separate from Pokkeiro because with him he could earn a lot of money.

Biography[]

Background[]

Not much else is known, except for the fact that he comes from Brazil. Periko was poor until he gained Pokkerio's power as his book starts shining and he says 'finally I have been able to become rich with this power no one is going to take it away from me!'.

Part I[]

Brago detects a mamodo and its human who were hiding in the trees to avoid having to fight. Sherry tells him that they will defeat them and attacks them. Pokkeiro and Periko defend themselves very scared since they do not want to lose. When the battle turns in favor of Sherry beastly, she falls to the ground unconscious because she is exhausted. Periko laughs and counterattacks causing Brago to have to defend himself by hitting without being able to cast any spells. Sherry meanwhile remembered her past with Koko and finally gets up in order to bring her back.

Sherry watches as Brago saves her again like the first time she met him in the scene against Koko and Zofis, then orders to launch an Ion Gravirei destroying the place on a large scale leaving their enemies buried but undefeated. Brago is shocked by this fact and when he asks Sherry to burn the Pokkeiro book, he notices that she is lying on the ground again unconscious. Brago wonders why he got such a weak human as a team since if he could fight alone he could easily be the king, then he heads towards her and carries her on his back.

Pokkerio is later seen at the end of the story in chapter 323 of the manga. He is at the school he is in the same grade as Laila, Gelios, and Paramakion. He joined the rest of the Mamodo from the battle and took a group photo to send to partners in the human world.
