The Mamodo Battle arc is the unofficial title for the overall story arc from episodes 1 through 50 of the anime (season 1) and from chapters 1-99 of the manga, which also includes some subarcs like the Magic Mirror and Maestro anime-only arcs and the England arc. Until the England arc, the beginning of the series could be told as the Introduction arc, as it's the beginning of the Battle to Determine King of Mamodo World and Zatch Bell and Kiyo Takamine slowly learning about the battle to become King.
