He was among the many Ancient Mamodo who Zofis freed from his curse of stone. Like most of the others, he was partnered to a modern-day descendant of his previous partner who was brainwashed into a fighting machine.
Versus Kido and Dr. Riddles[]
Kamakku's only battle took place the day after Penny left with Badios, Boru Bora, Erujo, and Dogmos to attack Zatch in Japan. Dr. Riddles and Kido snuck up to the ruins to gauge the situation, but Zofis sensed their trespassing and made Kamakku aware of it; he went scouting alone, and when he came across them, they immediately took action to silence him.
Expressing interest in venting his millennium of inaction, he deflected Kido's Zegaruga with Gigara Rerudo. Kamakku expressed his delight at Zofis's mind control powers and how his partner cast the spell as he thought of it, informing Dr. Riddles of the human's brainwashed state. He cast Raajia Zerusen, but Kamakku blasted it with a laser spell and then flung crystals at them with another spell. Dr. Riddles responded with Koburuku, and Kamakku underestimating the mini-Kidos allowed them to land a blow on him; he used another spell to enhance his fists and punched them all away. This allowed Dr. Riddles an opening to boast about how he would make Kido the king, inspiring Kido to follow up with his own boast. Irritated, Kamakku charged forward, bringing back his fist that was glowing with the light of a spell. But Dr. Riddles cast Gigano Zegaru, blasting the area with enough force to defeat Kamakku.
As his book burned, Kamakku warned them that they hadn't won; the other Ancient Mamodo always attacked in groups. He informed them of the group that had left the previous day, mentioning that they were going after Zatch (to Dr. Riddles's alarm), and gloating how the modern-day demons were vanishing one by one, and they would be next.
It was Kamakku's warning that saved Zatch and Kiyo from Penny; when Dr. Riddles returned to the city, he called Tia and Megumi and warned them, prompting them to rush to Zatch and Kiyo's aid; they arrived just in time to save them.
After the Battle[]
Kamakku appeared attending an Asian-style school alongside Wonrei and Danny.
