Hana Takamine (高嶺華 Takamine Hana) is Kiyo Takamine's mother and Seitaro Takamine's wife. She is very protective of Zatch Bell and Kiyo.
Appearance[]
Hana has a large stature, which is that of a full-grown adult and an average slim build. She has hazel-brown eyes and brown hair that is tied up like a ponytail. She wears a signature red and long-sleeved undershirt and sleeves that are rolled up, mostly going to the length of her elbows with a light-green apron overlapping it and a green, teal dress with greyish blue slippers. When she's out, she wears the same thing, except without her apron or a short, overthrown jacket and a pair of pumps.
Personality[]
Just like any mother, Hana is very kind, considerate and caring, especially for Kiyo and Zatch. However, if Kiyo is doing something irresponsible like not going to school or taking care of Zatch, she can be somewhat stern and assertive towards Kiyo, oftentimes scolding him. Despite this, she knows why Kiyo acts in a certain way and wants the best for him like making friends at school.

Kiyomaro's mother first appears scolding her son for not wanting to go to school, then forces Kiyomaro to take care of Zatch and is happy that Zatch wants to be friends with her son. She later makes dinner for Zatch and Kiyo and then sends Kiyo to bathe Zatch.
