Overview[]

Golden Gash!!: Demon Revolution Army, also known as "Konjiki no Gash!!: Mamono no Kakumei-gun" (金色のガッシュ! !:魔物革命軍) and alternately "Zatch Bell! Mamodo Revolution Army" is a Zatch Bell! / Konjiki no Gash (Bell)! fanfiction series serving as a non-canon fan sequel to the manga, more specifically after the one-shot Konjiki no Gash!! Gaiden: "Friend" manga. It takes place a whole year after the Demon Battle of the third millennium (2000 A.D.) has started [Chapter 1]. 27 years later [Chapter 2 and beyond], an evil organization, called the Demon Revolution Army, is formed. This Revolution Army plans on overthrowing the kind King Zatch (Gash) Bell and put Demon World into chaos. Heroes, including Raiden Bell and Rain Bell, who are the (theoretical) sons of King Zatch (Gash) Bell and Queen Patie Bell, as well as Zeon Bell (now a good demon) and his army, are trying to put a stop to them. Can these heroes stop this revolution army from overthrowing King Zatch (Gash) Bell and prevent chaos from occurring in the Demon World?

The fanfiction remake's sequel (or expansion), Golden Gash!!: Demon Revolution Army II - The Fallen King, also known as "Konjiki no Gash!!: Mamono no Kakumei-gun II ~Taoreta Ō~ (金色のガッシュ! !:魔物の革命軍II 〜倒れた王〜)" and "Zatch Bell!: Mamodo Revolution Army II - The Fallen King," takes place in the past's altered timeline. After preventing the Demon Revolution Army from ever forming in the past, other groups of evil take notice and started causing chaos in Demon World. While Future Timeline A was saved, it seems like Past Timeline B is in the face of Armageddon. Is there a way to restore Demon World from the chaos of death that spread throughout the lands?

Disclaimers/News[]

On November 25, 2018, an official Discord server for Golden Gash!! Demon Revolution Army was created. However, the author shut down the Discord server in January 2019.

On November 26, 2018, disclaimers were added to the fanfiction series, making a brief statement and apology about a controversial scene that the fanfic author received the day prior after removing the controversial scene and adding age recommendations for readers. The fanfiction series, while it contains plenty of PG-13 content, the fanfiction as a whole is recommended for ages of 16+, especially for The Fallen King sequel for its mildly high level of violence/gore. In its current state, there are mildly high levels of violence/gore (suited for 16+ years of age) that depends on chapter, no erotic content, and no profanity except mild words used in certain special attack names.

As of February 26, 2022, with the announcement of an official sequel, an archive was created for Golden Gash!! Demon Revolution Army and the original version of the fanfiction series has been deleted from FanFiction.NET, deleted from the fanfic's Blogger, and put into "storage" in DeviantArt. The fate of the remake version is unknown but currently will stay up on those websites until further notice.

There is also no plan to create an Archive of Our Own port of the fanfiction at the moment, especially due to the amount of effort it would take to clean the sloppy HTML5 formatting from either the Blogger or DeviantART ports.

Zecross then killed Captain Tosh along with Tosh's men with Shidona Reaper and added their corpses to his collection. (Remake: Chapter 15a) Captain Tosh was originally an unnamed Officer Cadet-ranked soldier until an update of Remake: Chapter 15a on February 27, 2017.

Dreadlords for the Lich King

  • Malfournis - A large gargoyle demon serving under the Lich King as a dreadlord over 10,000 years ago. While a minor character in person, he is a central character often mentioned in The Fallen King. Malfournis is a powerful dreadlord with unimaginable power. He bears the Left Eye of Psychic Shock and the Right Eye of Spacetime Distortion (commonly known as the "Right Eye of Dimensional Distortion") and he has an incredible physical strength that could several anyone's limbs. Malfournis joined a group of terrorists led by Shao-Tsu, a powerful sorcerer with incredible Dark Arts who had a child that came in second place of the Battle to Determine King, to take over the Duskreaver Stronghold and dethrone King Zal'gor, Gul'ren's older brother. Malfournis betrays Shao-Tzu to take over the throne until he was dethroned centuries later when a resistance army was formed to end Malfournis's reign of evil. His dimensinoal eye is left in Demon World, later to be found by the Acolytes of the Nether 9,001+ years later. (TFK Chapter 7)
  • Vlanador - A large vampire demon serving under the Lich as a dread over 10,000 years old ago. Nothing much is known about him other than his title as the "Blood Vampire" and that he has given the Lich King 125 demon sacrifices and over 2,000 pints of blood extracted from them and other demons. The type of magic he would obviously be able to conjure is Blood Magic. (TFK Chapter 12)
  • Unnamed Stone Gargoyle demon - A large gargoyle demon made of stone serving under the Lich as a dread over 10,000 years old ago. Nothing much is known about him other than giving the Lich King over 250 demon souls. (TFK Chapter 12)

Juno is based on the Roman Goddess Juno and the Greek Goddess Hera, Goddesses of Marriage, Women, and Childbirth. (Remake: Chapter 19b [mentioned], TFK Chapter 15 [present])
  • Ops - Saturn's wife. Ops is an archangel and former angel. She used to be the Priest of Earth and Fertility in the Twilight Council on Planet Ishtar (and pretty much still was afterward) and she is one of the co-founders of Spirit World as the Queen of Paradise. After becoming an archangel and becoming the Goddess of Earth and Fertility, Saturn and Ops had three baby children: Pluto (Cupid of Fire), Neptune (Cupid of Water), and Jupiter (Cupid of Lightning). One day when Ops went back to Planet Ishtar for a meeting with the New Twilight Council, she suddenly stumbled upon the dreaded Corruption World, decaying away. (TFK Chapter 13)

This white winged unicorn utilizes Light Blessing and is able to purify corrupted darkness and evil in the lands, as well as creating a dome barrier of holy light for defense. Neptune gave Pegasus to his nephew Mars for whenever he needs it. (TFK Chapter 14)

Angels and Demons of Planet Ishtar

  • Mother Themis Sr. - An angelic nun from a church of the Twilight Council on Planet Ishtar. Themis, already pregnant with a baby angel [cupid] girl named Dikē, was sexually harassed by a gang of evil demons and she became impregnated with a baby demon girl named Adikia, who fused herself with Dikē into a nephalic mutant named Themis Jr. Mother Themis then died from childbirth. (TFK Chapter 13)
  • Father Marlin - An angelic priest from a church of the Twilight Council on Planet Ishtar. Just a random minor character but he cares for his nun colleague Mother Themis, especially since Mother Themis lost her husband and that Themis was pregnant. (TFK Chapter 13)
  • Gang of Demon Criminals on Ishtar - The many fathers of Adikia. An unknown gang of demons of Ishtar who sexually assaulted Mother Themis, stunning her with the Stunning Charm Zálisma (ζάλισμα, Greek for "Stun") followed by the Impregnancy Charm Gonimopoió [γονιμοποιώ, Greek for "Impregnant"], cursing Mother Themis's unborn baby with a child of their own, merging them into a nephalem. These criminals ran off after being attacked by Hierarch Guthorax.

  • Zama - An impish acolyte from the Acolytes of the Nether. Zama purposely got himself caught by the Demon Resistance Army to stealthfully bring one of Stalghor's bones in D.D. Headquarters in an attempt for Stalghor to create an invasion of spawned skeletons on the Headquarters to reap everyone's souls.
