Domu (ドム, Domu) and Yu (禹, Yǔ) are a minor ancient mamodo team that appear during the Stone Tablet Arc. Their spells are not shown but are based on Sand.
Appearance[]
Domu is a mamodo with a wild, beastlike appearance. His entire body is covered in thick, shaggy yellow fur that conceals most of his features except for his brown face, which is visible through the hair. He has a broad mouth often shown with a mischievous or aggressive grin.
Yu appears to be a young adult male. He wears a cap and his outfit consists of a buttoned shirt tucked into shorts, paired with socks and shoes.
Personality[]
Domu appears to be quite reckless, as he desperately charged toward Brago without using a spell in the anime.
Nothing is known of Yu's personality due to his mind being brainwashed by Zofis during his appearance.
Biography[]
Background[]
Domu participated in the previous battle 1,000 years ago to decide the Mamodo King. At some point during the battle, Domu ran into Goren of the Stone and Maurice and was turned into a stone tablet by his spell, Dioga Gorugojio. After being trapped in a stone tablet for 1,000 years, Domu was returned to his body by Zofis when he used the Stone of Moonlight on him and the other ancient mamodo trapped in stone. Yu is not Domu's original partner and, under normal circumstances, would be unable to read the spellbook or activate its spells. However, through Zofis’ mental manipulation, the cognitive dissonance between the descendants and the spellbook was forcibly synchronized. This artificial alignment allows Yu to read and cast the spells as though he were Domu's rightful partner.
