| Overview |
Cut N' Paste (ノリトー・ハッサミー, Noritō Hassamī) and Kiichiro (遠藤 喜一郎, Endō Kiichirō) are a human-mamodo team Zatch and Kiyo encounter during the Magic Mirror Arc. They appear exclusively in the anime.
Appearance[]
Cut N’ Paste is one of the most visually unique Mamodo, with a tall, thin, cylindrical body resembling a glue stick. His head is shaped like a light green glue cap, adding to the theme, and his expressionless face typically displays two small, vacant black eyes. His limbs are long, black, and rubbery, giving him a spindly appearance. He wears yellow gloves and boots, along with a red scarf. His entire design evokes the image of a quirky, animated craft supply, reflecting his strange but fitting name.
Kiichiro is a towering and muscular man whose physique resembles that of a brute. His bald head and stoic, vacant expression add an air of menace, and his imposing frame is defined by his bulging chest and abs. He wears a sleeveless brown leather jacket with shoulder armor, evoking a post-apocalyptic or biker style. A star-shaped pin on his jacket adds a touch of individuality. He also dons cuffs, a large belt, blue jeans, and tall, heavy black boots.
Personality[]
Despite his odd appearance, Cut N' Paste possesses a threatening and unpredictable nature, and his combat style relies heavily on unconventional tactics.
Kiichiro
It is unknown why they teamed up with Grisor and Dr. Hakase but it is presumed they did it for power.
Biography[]
Background[]
Sometime before the events of the Magic Mirror arc, Cut N' Paste and Kiichiro teamed up with Grisor and Dr. Hakase.
Part I[]
After Shion earns Zatch’s friendship—motivated by her interest in his piece of the Magic Mirror—Kiichiro suddenly appears and demands that Kiyo hand over his shard of the mirror. When Kiyo refuses, Kiichiro summons Cut N’ Paste with the spell Voruku, initiating a battle. Kiyo urges Shion to hide, unaware at the time that she also has a mamodo partner. During the fight, Kiyo realizes that Cut N’ Paste’s spells overpower Zatch’s lightning attacks. However, he identifies a weakness in their ultimate technique, Gigano Shizaruk, a massive scissor creature made entirely of metal. Exploiting its conductivity, Kiyo casts Jikerudo, pulling the metal construct toward Cut N’ Paste and destroying their spell, which causes their book to burn. Defeated, Kiichiro flees. Unbeknownst to them, the entire battle is observed by [[Grisor]], who mocks Cut N’ Paste’s failure. Later, on a riverbank, Kiichiro and Cut N’ Paste reappear before Zatch and Kiyo, again demanding the Demonic Mirror piece. Another short battle ensues, but once more they are undone by their own technique, countered by Kiyo’s use of Jikerudo.
