Summary[]

Zatch and Kiyo manage to hit Waig with their Zaker. Zelie begins crying tears of joy as she and Olmo see that the King has returned. Gill questions how Zatch could be alive and becomes interested in the "fragment of life," Kiyo mentioned. Waig becomes angry that the Zaker hurt him and goes to punch Zatch but is diverted to the ground. Zatch criticizes Waig for using his fists and weapons to attack defenseless people, which makes him laugh while explaining how much of a "blast" it was. Waig praises Ted and Rein for landing an attack on him back in the Mamodo World. Waig sarcastically thanks Zatch for "giving" him the Rashirudo spell to reflect their attacks. Waig begins attacking the group again, but Kiyo tells the others that Waig has a blind spot behind his right side thanks to his flailing arms on his back. Waig launches a Zakeruga at Zatch and Kiyo, but they stop it by countering with Zaker. Gill questions how the Zaker could stop a Zakeruga, even though the latter is a higher-level spell. Zatch quickly runs behind Waig's right side and blasts him with a Zaker spell.

Waig begins to panic, and Zatch shoots another Zaker from beneath him. Waig lunges forward with his mace to try and strike Zatch, but he evades. Gill notices that Zatch used his Zaker to cause the ceiling to collapse above them. As Waig and Gill are distracted, Kiyo manages to steal the briefcase of Spell Bottles and pour the Zakeruga, and Rashield spells back into their spellbook. Gill directs Waig to use his mace to block their escape and then kill them no matter what. As Waig rushes toward Zahra, Mippy, Olmo, and Zelie, Kiyo casts Rashield, and Zatch (using his hands) summons the shield before them to stop Waig's attack. Zatch and Kiyo continue strategically attacking Waig, impressing Gill with their strength. Gill thinks that he may have underestimated the relationship between humans and Mamodos.
