The Four Supreme Mamodo (四天王 Shitennō, lit. "Four Heavenly Kings in the Japanese version) are four powerful and trustworthy Mamodo selected by Zofis (known as "Milordo-Z") that reign over certain sectors of the Devolo Ruins. Three of the four humans that partnered with the Four Supreme Mamodo have their own free will and are as they allied themselves with Milordo-Z with the exception of Lance, Pamoon's current partner.
Biography[]
Like the other Ancient Mamodo, the four members of this group were candidates in the battle to decide the King that took place a thousand years ago. During the conflict, they encountered Goren of Stone and his partner Maurice, and were turned into stone slabs by the latter’s Dioga Warble spell. After a millennium, Zofis released them. Recognizing their strength as the most powerful of the Ancient Mamodo, he placed them at the top of his army’s hierarchy and named them the “Four Supreme Mamodo.”
The first three members to appear were Belgim E.O., Tsao-Lon, and Pamoon—the latter being the youngest but second most powerful. Each stood guard within a separate chamber of the Devolo Ruins, blocking intruders from advancing further. The last to appear was Demolt, a massive demon-like mamodo who, according to Brago, even surpassed Zofis in sheer brute strength. Demolt was placed under Zofis’s control and assigned to protect the Moonlight Stone, located at the highest point of the ruins.
Unlike many other Ancient Mamodo, the Supreme Mamodo stood out because most of their human partners were not brainwashed by Zofis but served him willingly. Dalia Anjé, partner of Belgim E.O., appeared mentally unstable and unaware of her actions. Gensou, Tsao-Lon’s partner, sought the opportunity to face powerful opponents. Roberto Vile, Demolt’s partner, was promised ownership of the Moonlight Stone if he could guard it until Zofis achieved kingship. Only Pamoon fought without a partner.
