Earth Magic is a type of elemental magic involving the ground, rocks, stones, and other minerals. Due to minerals being created from the earth, Crystal Magic, Metal Magic, and Sand Magic are categorized under Earth Magic. "Groun(d)" (グラン Guran) is the spell phrase used for Earth Magic, which is self-explanatory. Meanwhile, Lava/Magma Magic is a combination of Earth Magic and Fire Magic. The spell phrase used for Lava/Magma Magic is "Magma" (マグマ Maguma).

In Zatch Bell! The Card Battle, the attribute for SPELL cards involving Earth Magic is Ground.
