| Overview |
Bamu (バムウ, Bamuu) and Luke Brown (ルーク・ブラウン, Rūku Buraun) are a minor ancient mamodo team who appeared during the Stone Tablet Arc. Bamu's spells have the Fire attribute.
Appearance[]
Bamu is a Mamodo with a striking and intimidating design resembling a blazing sun. His body is spherical and bright orange with sharp flame-like protrusions radiating outward like sun rays. He has a yellow, segmented face with a sinister grin of jagged teeth and small red eyes. His limbs are mechanical-looking, with shiny metallic arms ending in claws and thick, silver legs with red, jointed segments.
Luke Brown, Bamu’s human partner, is a young man with a formal and sharp appearance. He has neatly combed dark brown hair parted in the middle, pale skin, and narrow, calculating eyes that reflect his stern and serious demeanor. Luke wears a green button-up shirt tucked into tan pants, secured with a belt.
Personality[]
Luke Brown is a human who has his mind brainwashed by Zofis, but he was saved by Sherry, once Bamu's book was burned.
Biography[]
Background[]
Bamu participated in the previous battle 1,000 years ago to decide the Mamodo King. At some point during the battle, Bamu was turned into a stone tablet when Goren of the Stone used his spell, Dioga Gorugojio. After being trapped in a stone tablet for 1,000 years, Bamu was returned to his body by Zofis when he used the Stone of Moonlight on him and the other ancient mamodo. Luke is not Bamu’s original partner and, under normal circumstances, would be unable to read the spellbook or activate its spells. However, through Zofis’ mental manipulation, the cognitive dissonance between the descendants and the spellbook was forcibly synchronized. This artificial alignment allows Luke to read and cast the spells as though he were Bamu’s rightful partner.
Part I[]
As Zatch and Kiyo, along with Tia and Megumi, battle Alm and Gelios, Brago and Sherry simultaneously confront Bamu in the mountains of France.[1] After a sudden ambush, Brago effortlessly destroys Bamu’s initial attack with his arm. In retaliation, Bamu casts Ganjasu Barufurei, believing Brago will shield Sherry and take the full force of the blast. However, to Bamu’s surprise, Brago charges forward while Sherry evades the barrage of fire beams. Seizing the opening, Sherry counterattacks with a single Dioga Gurabidon, powerful enough to incinerate Bamu’s spellbook and end the battle.
