| Overview |
Babiru (バビル, Babiru) and Seiu Ou (汪・青宇, Ō Seiu) are an ancient mamodo team who fights along Ibaris, usually. Their spells are based on Energy.
Appearance[]
Babiru is a slender mamodo with light blue hair styled into a sharp, angular fringe that sweeps dramatically to one side, covering part of his face. Due to this, his eyes are never seen. He wears a long, dark purple outfit that fits closely to his form, decorated with bold red-and-yellow cross emblems on the chest and shoulders. The outfit has a high collar and extended sleeves.
Seiu Ou, Babiru’s human partner in the current battle, has a lean build and messy light brown hair that frames his face with strands that stick outward. He wears a light gray suit paired with a white collared shirt, giving him a sharp yet disheveled appearance.
Personality[]
Seiu is Babiru’s bookkeeper who was brainwashed by Zofis, but was brought back to his senses when Babiru‘s spellbook was burned.
Biography[]
Background[]
Babiru participated in the previous battle 1,000 years ago to decide the Mamodo King. At some point during the battle, Babiru was turned into a stone tablet when Goren of the Stone used his spell, Dioga Gorugojio. After being trapped in a stone table for 1,000 years, Babiru was returned to his body by Zofis when he used the Stone of Moonlight on him and the other ancient mamodo. Seiu Ou is not Babiru's original partner and, under normal circumstances, would be unable to read the spellbook or activate its spells. However, through Zofis’ mental manipulation, the cognitive dissonance between the descendants and the spellbook was forcibly synchronized. This artificial alignment allows Seiu Ou to read and cast the spells as though he were Babiru's rightful partner.
Part I[]
They are first seen in the forest, fighting and burning Baransha’s After the forest incident, Babiru is later seen with Ibaris, again, protecting the Devolo Ruins of any intruder; but both are defeated Zatch, and his group. He is last seen in the final ancient mamodo battle, helping Ibaris to defeat Brago, but Brago burns all ancient ancient mamodo' books easily, including his.
